
The early bird gets the worm. The early bird also went to sleep before the other birds. Sleep is extremely important if you want to operate a successful business, but sometimes its hard to find the time to get good sleep with so many responsibilities. Here are 5 tips to help you get to sleep early, and to be more productive in your day.
1.Go to bed as early as possible. Just remember all the times where going to bed late has given you horrible results. This should help to force you to turn off the computer and television.
2. Know your limitations. You're not a machine. Your body and mind will literally shut down if you don't get enough rest.
3. Put your work to the side a couple of hours before bed. If your mind is racing it's hard to get to sleep. Give your brain a chance to wind down by leaving the work alone right before bed.
4. Create a routine before bed. Maybe you take a shower, then read a few pages of a book before bed. Whatever it is, try to make it a relaxing routine that you do every night. This will help you get to sleep.
5. Make sleep a priority. Get serious about sleep and don't let anyone or anything stand in the way of YOUR sleep!
